The Creation Of A Picture
How important are pictures to you? They say that one picture can mean a thousand words, but sometimes I feel it means so much more. Taking a picture is like capturing a piece of someone soul, and giving it back to them, so they can see the beauty of who they are as a person without even them realising. Memories are created all the time in so many different ways, but having a picture, is like having something you can always touch and feel in your hand and your memory will always recapture the moment of what happened at that present time in your life. I feel that back in the day and even now, when we use a film camera we have a more emotional attachment and appreciation, towards the creation of a picture. I'm not saying that we don't in the digital world, but I feel with film photography, we give more passion and attention to what we are taking a picture of. When you only have a certain amount of pictures that you can take, you value the worth of each exposure. Rather than today, as with a digital camera we constantly click away and take pictures, then delete, Until we feel, we have the right angle or look good enough to share that picture with everybody else.
Every picture you take is a beautiful caption of who you are and regardless if it is in your past or in that moment it will last forever. Pictures carry so many different, emotional, ambitious and cherished moments of who we are as people, but most of all who we love as people. Each picture you take tells a story that is view in millions of peoples minds in a different way. If you were to put a picture on a wall and ask a million people how they feel or what they see within the picture, they would all see and feel something different each and every time. Life is about holding precious moments as much as you can, to your heart but also sharing them with people so they can feel those moments with you. Keep taking pictures that freezes moments of your life that you can cherish forever.
