In this episode, we speak to Julian Tardo who is a Sound Recordist at Freelance and the founder of Church Road Recording Company.
Julian and I had a chance to talk about him setting up his company with a friend in 1996, Starting up a band in 1990, Putting his music out with the band under an indie label, Going on tours but bring really poor but doing music for the labour of love. We also spoke about him not being able to carry on doing music in the way he wanted too, as it was not paying the bills. Julian, also talks about how to start up and run your own studio and how working with your accountant on running a business smoothly.
