Prïnceps (stylised as :princeps, pronounced prins-eps) are a London based electronic rock duo consisting of singer Renz Byrne and bassist and producer Marko Press. The two have worked together for years, forming Prïnceps when their previous band split up in 2018. Their name is inspired by their mutual love of Ancient Rome (Press’s home city) and the video game ‘Rome: Total War’.
Renz & Marko talk to me about there life and where they both where brought up. How this had an impact on there lives, how there journey begin within music and how they become emotionally connected to be there absolute best within music, how they both met each other and how music was a huge part of bringing them together, we also had a chance to talk about there most funniest and embarrassing moments as well as how to promote yourself and find work especially being a musician or band.
