Am I Good Enough…
Within the quiet spaces of my heart, I have come to realize that my worth has never been measured by the world’s gaze, but by the gentle, continuing in a strong and steady way the truth that I am and have always been good enough. The question, “Am I good enough?” arises only when we judge ourselves through the distorted lens of others’ opinions. We have been conditioned by society to chase an illusion of perfection, to believe that beauty and worth are defined by ever-shifting standards set by people who often do not see the light we carry within.
Much of life is shaped by the voices and judgments of others. Yet, it is crucial to recognize that opinions often reveal more about the speaker than the subject. Sometimes, people form harsh opinions simply because they are threatened by the brilliance and authenticity you bring into the world. Still, we internalize these judgments and begin to sabotage ourselves, spinning narratives of inadequacy in our minds. Most of these stories never come true, yet we let them dictate our sense of self-worth.
Pause for a moment and imagine the world without your presence. Think of the lives you’ve touched, the hope you’ve inspired, the comfort you have given often without even realizing it. Your existence, your unique presence, has ignited, embraced, and even saved others in ways you may never fully know. So, are you good enough? Only you can answer that, but let your answer be honest and kind.
The magnificent truth is that you have ALWAYS been enough. You are made in the light of positive perfection, exactly as you are meant to be. There is only one you in this vast world. No matter how many similarities you may share with others, your essence is irreplaceable and singular.
I Remember one of the most beautiful quotes I read stated, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited; imagination encircles the world.” Say to yourself with conviction: I am good enough, for I have enriched the world simply by being here.
