Bullied to Succeed…
Let’s talk about bullying for a moment, the kind that tries to make a person feel smaller because their culture, faith, skin, accent, spirit, or way of seeing the world does not fit inside someone else’s limited understanding.
I have learned that people often attack what they cannot explain. Difference unsettles those who have never taken the time to learn from it. But tell me this, how can your roots be a weakness when they have carried generations before you? How can your identity be “too much” when it is the very reason you were born to stand apart?
Bullying can bruise the heart, but it can also reveal something powerful, you were never meant to shrink for people who are threatened by your light. Those who are truly at peace with themselves will not try to own you, break you, or make you feel less than human. They will stand beside you. They will remind you that your difference is not a problem to fix, it is a gift the world has not yet learned how to appreciate.
Being bullied to succeed is not about thanking the pain. It is about refusing to let the pain have the final word. It is taking every insult, every rejection, every cruel look, and turning it into proof that you still climb. And isn’t that the part they never expect? That the person they tried to damage becomes the person who inspires others to survive with grace.
There is a strange beauty in becoming stronger without becoming bitter. There is power in saying, “You tried to define me, but I chose to discover myself.” The world may test your worth, but it does not get to decide it.
So, if you have ever been made to feel different, remember this, different is often where greatness begins. Your story is not an injury on display, it is a glow in motion. Let it warm others. Let it guide someone who thinks they are alone. Let your life become the answer to the question, what happens when pain meets purpose?
You succeed. You grow. You become living proof that no one can bury a person who has already planted themselves in hope.
Continue to be kind to one another, and keep saving the planet Earth.
