Choose Your Truth

They say the truth will set you free, but most of the time people use lies to cover up the truth, hoping that the lies they tell, will set them free and get them out of a situation.

People don’t understand, that one line needs to be covered up by another lie than with another lie, which will lead to a constant spiral of lies, which eventually makes people even believe in there lies, if they tell it long enough.

There is a saying that says the truth hurts you less then a constant lie. I believe they both can hurt you. But there are so many things, to take into consideration. The truth has strength and substance yet a lie can hide pain and guilt.

Choose your truth or choose your lie, they both hold their weight. But so does your Conscience, have the strength to deny the truth, as you think at night and try to sleep. People always say “how can you sleep at night after what you did”.

The truth is an opportunity to be free. Yet the opportunity of truth does not knock twice. They say telling a lie once and all of your truths become questionable? 🤨

Remember everything and every word that comes out of your mouth is a reflection, of your integrity and represents who you are, Remember that words have repercussions and a truth or a lie, comes down to how much you value yourself and the integrity of others!!! {Or is it just about covering your own back}.

People deserve honesty as much as you would like to receive it. Always remember that. Yourself worth is just as important as another persons. Even if everything in life is not always black and white. 💜
